Product Description

We developed a chalk style paint with a built in bonding primer and a built in wax for the time conscious consumer. That means all of the adhering benefits of a chalk style paint, but without the tedious 2nd step of applying wax which can make traditional chalk painting seem difficult. On its own, The Heritage Collection’s unique all-in-one formula is sealed and is extremely durable once cured. It adheres to most surfaces, including wood, Formica, glass, ceramic, stone, cement and much more without the need to strip, sand or prime. With 12 European inspired colors that pair together well creating a high-end finish, The Heritage Collection allows you to turn that flea market find into a unique family heirloom.

Polo is a dark navy like the most flattering color of women’s navy slacks.  Add our Weathered Wood Antiquing Gel to tone and gray down the finish.

If you wish to have an antiqued, Pinterest look, add our Weathered Wood Antiquing Gel to your finish.

Note:  you may experience tannin bleeds with any paint product.  This is most typical in red woods that you are painting a light color.  Consider using shellac as a primer in those instances.  Nicotine residue may also cause bleed through.

Polo is a fabulous color. It’s a dark rich navy that in certain lighting is almost black.

Polo is the perfect choice for anyone wanting a dark navy. It is lovely with White antiquing get to soften the color and add interest to a piece. As with other HTP products it is so easy to use and the results are gorgeous!

I used 3 coats of Polo on the bathroom vanity instead of replacing it. Watching several videos inspired me. I love it.

Great product!

Polo is a very dark navy. I love the color but it is also easily lightened by other paints, white, gray or even Mediterranean.

Polo is the perfect navy blue. It is a rich navy – dark and very rich looking. It goes great with almost any color you put with it. I used Polo to paint a dresser for my grandson and it turned out beautiful. My grandson loved it!

I painted a really old wine rack with a butcher block top with this paint ( not the top) and all I can say is I will NEVER use another paint! The color is beautiful and the light sheen is just a perfect!!

HTP - Polo

Posted by Hedy DECAMPO on August 13, 2019

This is a true navy blue. I used it to redo an old side table. Two coats with a third touch up transformed an ugly duckling into a swan. Everyone comments on the finish…not flat or dull. A rich, almost velvety glow! They all want to know what I used! HTP, of course!
